Unwanted hair can feel bothersome in everyday life – whether on the legs, underarms, bikini area, back, chest or face. Modern laser hair removal allows hair follicles to be treated selectively, helping to achieve a long-term reduction in hair growth. The treatment is suitable for many different body areas and can be individually adapted to your skin type, hair structure and treatment goals.

At Margarethenklinik, we use the advanced Alma Soprano Titanium Special Edition laser system. The technology combines three established laser wavelengths – 755 nm, 810 nm and 1064 nm – simultaneously within a single applicator. This allows different depths and structures of the hair follicle to be targeted during treatment and makes the system suitable for a wide range of skin types, including darker skin tones.

A key feature of Soprano Titanium is its SHR™ In-Motion technology. During treatment, the handpiece is continuously moved across the skin while the tissue is gradually and evenly heated. This enables efficient treatment of larger body areas while maintaining a high level of comfort.

For additional comfort, the integrated ICE Plus™ technology continuously cools the skin surface throughout the treatment. As a result, laser hair removal is generally very well tolerated and local anaesthesia is usually not required.

As specialists in dermatology, our physicians carefully assess your skin, skin type and hair structure before planning your treatment. This allows us to select the appropriate treatment parameters and tailor laser hair removal to your individual needs and circumstances.

Following treatment, temporary mild redness or a sensation of warmth may occur. These reactions usually subside quickly. Over the course of the first treatments, regrowing hair may become finer and less dense. Since not all hairs are in the treatable growth phase at the same time, several sessions are usually required to achieve the best possible result.
