Dr. med. Paula Bonavia
Dr. Bonavia is a senior physician and specialist in vascular laser treatments at Margarethenklinik. Her extensive training in dermatology and venereology at Austral University Hospital in Buenos Aires forms the foundation of her expertise in treating skin conditions and performing aesthetic procedures.
As an experienced physician, she specializes in the treatment of vascular changes such as port-wine stains and hemangiomas in children. She also offers aesthetic treatments, including botulinum toxin, biostimulators, and fillers. With her precise and compassionate approach, Dr. Bonavia sets the highest standards in dermatological care.

Dr. med. Margarida Amaral
She is a senior physician in dermatology and venereology at the University Hospital Basel. Her medical career began in Portugal, where she obtained her medical degree from the Universidade do Algarve after previously completing nursing training at the Escola Superior de Enfermagem de Calouste Gulbenkian. With extensive clinical experience ranging from gynecology and general medicine to dermatological specializations, Dr. Amaral brings in-depth knowledge and a strong commitment to patient care to Margarethenklinik.

Dr. med. Roberta Vasconcelos-Berg
Dr. Roberta Vasconcelos-Berg is a specialist in aesthetic and regenerative dermatology and the clinical director of Margarethenklinik. With her extensive expertise, state-of-the-art technologies, and a keen sense of aesthetics, she guides her patients on their journey to natural beauty and greater self-confidence.
As an internationally recognized expert and pioneer in ultrasound-guided filler treatments, she stands for precision, safety, and innovative approaches in dermatology.

Doris de Bréchan
She is a medical practice assistant with many years of experience across various medical specialties. Her career has taken her from internal medicine to cardiology, emergency medicine, occupational medicine, and urology. Since 2018, she has been an indispensable part of Margarethenklinik.
With empathy, expertise, and her guiding principle, "Treat every person the way you would like to be treated," she ensures professional and compassionate patient care.

How to Find Us
Margarethenklinik is located on Innere Margarethenstrasse in the heart of Basel, right next to the Markthalle tram stop. We are just a few meters from Basel SBB railway station.
On Foot:
Only a five-minute walk from Basel SBB or Heuwaage.
By Car:
Please use the Elisabethen or Steinen parking garages. From there, it's about a 100-meter walk to our entrance on Innere Margarethenstrasse.
By Tram:
Take tram lines 1, 2, 8, or 16 to the Markthalle stop, then walk approximately 60 meters along Innere Margarethenstrasse to our entrance.
Accessibility:
The main entrance of Margarethenklinik is not wheelchair accessible, but we do offer alternative wheelchair-friendly access to the treatment rooms. If you have mobility difficulties, please call us at +41 61 265 25 70, and we will be happy to assist you.
